The 25th, 50th and the 60th Anniversary years of the CPC passed us by - but we have now captured a full seventy-five years of the club's history in one publication.
 
Edited by Howard Beck, who notes in his introduction that it was more a case of what to have to leave out, rather than what to include; the high quality A4 presentation contains 210 pages illustrated with some 450 images and culminates in a full colour gallery.

Five chapters chart our member’s activities both under and above ground from the foundation years in Craven to today’s international caving and mountaineering expeditions.

While pitched squarely at recording the CPC’s history to date for the benefit of members, there is much for both the casual reader and the historian. This is much more than a nostalgic ramble through our photographic archives. Detailed accounts recall original exploration from our backyard in the Yorkshire Dales to more exotic places around the globe.
